Giesinger Elementary Counselor Assistance Form 2020-2021
Hi Giesinger Parents! I am Mrs. Barton, the Counselor at Giesinger Elementary. This will be my 4th year here as the Counselor at Giesinger. My role on campus is to work with students, parents, and teachers to provide a positive environment where students can become life long learners. Although the school year is starting off in a different way, I want you all to know that I am still available. I will be conducting classroom guidance lessons along with small group counseling via Zoom based on students needs.
Another major part of the counseling program is coordinating resources for students throughout the year. In order to meet the needs of our students, I will need a little information from parents. This form will help guide me in providing families resources that they need. I look forward to seeing all of our families in person.
