Presidential Duties: Sets agendas and presides at all general and board meetings. Manages the business of the HCPA and its board, activities chairs, is an ex-officio member of all committees and previews any HCPA materials before their distribution. Serves as the primary correspondent between HCA administration and the HCPA. Serves a one-year term as president and a one-year term as past-president.
Treasurer Duties: Works closely with HCA accounting staff to assure reimbursements are sent in a timely manner, keeps an accurate record of receipts and expenditures and pays out funds as authorized by the organization. Presents a statement of accounts at every meeting of the organization and at other times upon the request of the executive board and makes a full report at the last general meeting.
No officer or member shall receive any profits or payments from the proceeds of any fundraising activity, except for reimbursements.
Advisory Board/Campus Representatives Duties: Campus Representative are the liaison between the HCPA and each campus. They shall help coordinate and recruit event volunteers for all HCPA events and programs. All Board Coordinators shall oversee designated programs approved by the Executive Board and have the authority to be responsible for all the details of a program from start to finish, within budget, and in compliance with HCA guidelines.
