The event will cover legal aspects, cultural challenges, entrepreneurial strategies, and academic perspectives. The main contents of the event include (1) business challenges and solutions faced by entrepreneurs in the process of investing in the U.S.; (2) key legal considerations involved in cross-border investment and how a team of lawyers can help companies to navigate; (3) current and significant academic research on China-U.S. investment. Students are expected to obtain an opportunity to speak directly with entrepreneurs and legal practitioners to ask questions and network. The event will be a mix of online and in-person, and we will broadcast it through Zoom to allow students to participate remotely.
