Bonsall Unified School District Transitional Kindergarten Program Survey
BUSD is developing a Universal Transitional Kindergarten (TK) Program for all 4 year old students by 2025-2026. TK is the first year of a two-year kindergarten program that uses a modified kindergarten curriculum that is age and developmentally appropriate. Pursuant to law, EC 48000(c), a child is eligible for TK in fall 2022 if a child will have his or her fifth birthday between September 2 and February 2 (inclusive).

We currently offer TK at Bonsall Elementary and Bonsall West Elementary from 8am to 11:20 am Monday through Friday. Next year, we will be extending the day for TK students to full day, similar to the Kindergarten schedule. We are also projecting our enrollment so that we can effectively plan for our facilities and staffing needs. Please take a few minutes to complete this survey.



El Distrito escolar unificado de Bonsall está desarrollando un Programa Universal de Kindergarten de Transición (TK) para todos los estudiantes de 4 años para 2025-2026. TK es el primer año de este programa de kínder de dos años que utiliza un currículo de kínder modificado que es apropiado para la edad y el desarrollo. De conformidad con la ley EC 48000(c), un niño es elegible para TK en el otoño de 2022 si cumplirá cinco años entre el 2 de septiembre y el 2 de febrero (inclusivo).
