Local Food and COVID-19: Learning Through Experience
During this unprecedented pandemic, local farm and food businesses in the Adirondacks have responded rapidly in innovative ways to feed the community. Local farmers' markets, farmstands, cooked meal deliveries, and other local food vendors are noticing amazing support from the community. Adirondack Harvest would like to understand more about the relationship of local food to the community during this unusual time.

Adirondack Harvest is a cooperative marketing platform, brand and educational organization representing local farm, food, and forestry businesses in the Adirondacks. We maintain the comprehensive, current, and interactive local food guide and map for the region on our website, where you can search for every kind of local food experience available. We also host a blog and are launching a newsletter designed to tell the unique stories of these Adirondack small businesses so the community and visitors can learn new ways to join in to enjoy and support local.

What we learn from this survey will be written about in our blog, posted to the website and sent out in newsletter form. Our farm businesses and supporting organizations will be able to access this information in order to help understand how our community perceives and values local food.
