STEMforgood Executive Team Applications


Open positions are listed below. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis.

Vice President
 Helps in planning all events organised by the club.
Ensure that all members stay active, and smooth occurrence of events.
Create agendas and execute at least one project at all times.
Host one meeting a month with the executive members of the team.

Secretary :
Record minutes of all club meetings and make it available to team members.
Maintain all club official club correspondence.
Maintain a membership list of all members.

Public Relations Officer:
Publicise all club activities.
Attend all club activities and record events.
Communicate with all the members of the executive team for the smooth running of STEMforgood.

Head of tutoring
Maintain the schedule of tutoring by communicating with both the tutors of STEMforgood and the children
Ensure the classes are held according to the planned schedule and be efficient in making changes if the child or tutor needs to reschedule due to personal emergencies.
Communicate and ensure that the children are comfortable with their tutor by taking regular feedback .

Head of curriculum building
Communicate and manage all the curriculums efficiently, keep constant communication with curriculum building to ensure the progress of each curriculum
Keep in constant communication with the head of content regarding the videos of each curriculum and the head of tutoring to ensure the curriculum is delivered the way it was planned .

Head of writers
Ensure all the writers are submitting their designate work
Delegate the writing topics to the writers according to their respective field of interest in STEM
Responsibility to manage the STEMforgood monthly newsletter

Director of Operations:
The director of operations is in charge of the logistics of STEMforgood events, sending mass emails to  STEMforgood’s audience list and updating it every so often. This individual will also keep in track of login details of various platforms used by STEMforgood. Moreover, feedback forms for events will be created, and statistics will be calculated by this person.
Directors of Social Media:

Director of Social media :
Oversee everything (posts, videos, reels, DMs) related to Instagram for all three projects above and will work closely with the president, co-directors of three main projects, and social media team members. This individual will be mainly in charge of the organization’s Instagram page, and will formulate ideas for what is to be posted, delegating tasks to respective team members. This director will coordinate with the director of graphic design to form an efficient system to design posts, and with the director of marketing to increase the growth of  STEMforgood’s Instagram.

Director of Video Content
Oversee everything (posts, videos, reels, DMs) related to YouTube for all three projects above and will work closely with the president, co-directors of three main projects, and video content team members. This individual will also be in charge of the organisation’s YouTube page, and will formulate ideas for what is to be posted, delegating tasks to respective team members. This director will coordinate with the director of graphic design to form an efficient system to design graphics for videos, and with the director of marketing to increase the growth of STEMforgood’s YouTube page.

Director of Marketing
Ensures that content created by different projects and departments are accessible by students and the general public. This individual will have to constantly publicise the organisation (forming long messages to be distributed amongst marketing team members so that they can send it to their networks) on social media and other platforms such as Slack and Discord.
 Head of video content and editing team :

Director of Outreach:
Oversee outreach for all projects undertaken by STEMforgood and will work closely with the president, co-directors of three main projects, and outreach team members. This individual will also have the task of ensuring that team members in charge of outreach for each project are on task and assist them whenever possible.

 Director of Web & Tech:
This individual, along with her team will be in charge of the creation and maintenance of the organization’s website. This director will also be in charge of assigning organisational emails along with updating the website every so often whenever there is a new blog post or event recording.

Head of Graphic/Content Designing :
This head will coordinate with the social media team to maintain graphics posted on  STEMforgood’s Instagram. This individual will also be assisting with any graphics needed for the organisation’s YouTube page. Any social media projects for Instagram will be overseen by this executive .

Head of Reels for Stemforgood's social media account:
Would efficiently create reels and videos for our social media account 's maximum outreach .Should be familiar with Instagram. Work in collaboration with the Public Relations Officer to design and create social media reels for events.You will also be responsible for researching trending sounds and trends and will also be expected to do ample research on social media growth tactics.
