The Concept and Framework of Cross-Cultural Counseling

📓簡介：
This workshop will explore the concepts and framework of engaging in cross-cultural counseling. The importance of counselors’ self-awareness of their own values, biases, assumptions, and intersectional identities will be discussed. We will also explore the client’s worldview and how it can impact the counseling relationship. Finally, we will discuss the counseling relationship from the perspective of cultural humility and Relational-Cultural Therapy (RCT).

💡工作坊學習重點：

◇ Understand the importance of counselor self-awareness in cross-cultural counseling.

◇ Identify their own values, biases, and assumptions.

◇ Understand the concept of intersectionality and how it applies to cross-cultural counseling.

◇ Explore the client’s worldview and how it can impact the counseling relationship.

◇ Apply the basic concepts of cultural humility and relational-cultural therapy (RCT) in their clinical practice.

The Art of Attunement : Formula for building impactful relationships with diverse clients in Taiwan

📓簡介：
An interactive workshop that provides practical guide to creating your own relationship-building formula. Participants will learn from local case examples and also walk away with something that is personal to each individual.

◇擁有世界最特殊的外語族群-現今台灣非中文案的intersectionality為何迥異於其他國家，心理師如何從初談開始建立信任、增進治療關係。

◇東南亞、非洲、歐美、跨文化家庭正在提升我們的經驗值。成為可以接軌國際的台灣人有哪些契機？

◇ 我們不需要完美，但絕對需要真誠。練習左右腦並用的心理諮商－頭腦清楚知道自己在做什麼，也可以深度同理與共情。
