All Hill Students are invited to join Mr. Waldon's Black History Book Club! We will be reading and discussing Barracoon adapted for young readers by Ibrahm X Kendi from the original written by Zora Neale Hurston.

Barracoon is a fantastic account of Cudjo Lewis, told in his own words to Zora Neale Hurston, about his life in Africa, what it was like to be stolen from his tribe, brought to America as an enslaved human being, and his life after obtaining freedome from slavery. Books will be provided.

Tuesdays: 2/15, 2/22, & 2/29

Transportation is not provided, so please make sure your student has a means to get home after clubs end
Our teachers/staff who are running clubs are doing so unpaid. Please support clubs with a suggested donation of $65/student/club which works out to being $5/club! Funds will go directly to teachers and club supplies.
