Thalassemia disease: Thalassemia is an inherited blood disorder characterized by less oxygen-carrying protein (hemoglobin) and fewer red blood cells in the body than normal.

Thalassemia kids should take blood transfusions every 14days which is making them very difficult to find the donors. 

WHY blood camp? In light of the reported blood shortage at Nandyal Blood centre, in Nandyal, Friends for seva is organizing a voluntary blood donation camp. 
Location: Friends For Seva Orphanage home, Rytunagar road, Nandyal.
