Durga Balgokul (DBG) Registration Form 2023-2024
Durga BalGokul is excited to open registration for the upcoming year for your children ages 4 to 13+ year old into the BalGokul program. 

One form per family – applicable for returning and new families.

The first day of DBG is on Sunday Sept. 17, 2023. Look for an enrollment confirmation no later than Sept. 15, 2023. Please be in the temple downstairs hall by 9:45 am on the first day of BalGokul.

Fees and Charges
Durga Temple - No Charge
Books - $10 per book
DBG T-shirt: $10 per shirt
BalGokul Registration fees:
  • $100.00 -- first child
  • $75.00 – second child (sibling)
  • $50.00 – third child (sibling)

Terms & Conditions of Registration
  1. Program duration is 9 months (Sept. thru June)
  2. Classes are held once a week on Sunday at Durga Temple, Virginia.
  3. Timing of the classes: 10:00 am – 12:30 pm.
  4. BalGokul is run by volunteers. For efficient running of the program on Sanatana (Hindu) dharma and heritage, parents are expected to volunteer and share responsibilities in various activities of BalGokul and Durga Temple. Each family is required to volunteer 10 hrs. for the duration of the program. Families unable or unavailable to meet the volunteer hours requirement will be charged an additional fee of $75.
  5. Parents of children ages 4 – 6 yrs. old (Prithvi) class must sit with the child in the class.
  6. Parents or delegated Guardians ARE REQUIRED to be on-premise at Durga Temple at all times when children are attending the DBG program. Children CANNOT be dropped off for the DBG program unsupervised.
  7. Parents are expected to follow all the rules and regulations applicable to the program, including Durga Temple policies. For further information, please contact DBG team at dtbg.communications@gmail.com
  8. For safety of everyone, children/parent should stay home if they are sick or have any COVID-19 symptoms. If a teacher feels a child is sick, the DBG team will ask the parent to take the child home.
  9. Parents are expected to follow all Durga Temple and CDC COVID-19 guidelines. 

Waiver
I agree, I hold Durga Temple (Fairfax Station, VA) and Fairfax county in the State of Virginia, harmless for any and all liabilities arising out of me and/or/my children's participation in the BalGokul activity. In the event of medical emergency, any medical help available to the organization may be used. I will be responsible for all medical and related expenses.

I hereby, release Durga Temple and Fairfax County from any and all claims. I further agree to abide by the terms and conditions of the program, rules and regulations as decided by Durga Temple from time to time.
