Egalite Promotions would like to confirm the appointment of Dorette Badenhorst as its Director of Netball with effect from 1 January 2018. Her main responsibilities are to develop and present netball courses and tournaments at Sun City. Sun City offers the perfect balance for schools pre-season preparations, team building, team selections and those unforgettable memories at this world class resort.
Following on the successes achieved with various sporting courses/ tournaments staged at Sun City during the past 20 years, the following netball courses/ competitions are planned for 2023. Herewith some information regarding the programs for the different courses. Please read through all other information as well.

ACCOMMODATION
Accommodation for the event has been arranged at the Sun City Vacation Club in luxury self-catering, fully equipped units, consisting of 6 sleeper units. The accommodation consists of 1 double bedroom (en suite), 1 x 2 singles bedroom (en suite) and 2 sleeper couches (all bedding available inside a cupboard in the rooms). Residents of units will be responsible for the cleanliness of their units. However, the daily servicing of the units (beds, dishes, etc) are included in the package.
An additional fee of R 6 000.00 per team (12 persons) will be payable if teams need accommodation at Sun City for the night before the event commences – if available!
SIZE OF TEAM(S)
A team consists of 12 persons, all of the same gender. It may be made up to satisfy your needs. Make sure that the number of participants that are entered for this event is a multiple of six as the units are awarded accordingly.
TEAMS
A maximum of 32 teams per course.

TRANSPORT
Transport between OR Tambo International Airport/ Lanseria International Airport and Sun City (return). This transport will be available free of charge for teams making use of air transport to travel to Gauteng. Teams have to arrive before 10h00 the day before commencement of the event and depart not before 17h00 on the day of completion of the event. Any other transport will be for your own account. As far as possible air tickets should be booked to land at Lanseria.
PAYMENTS
A non-refundable entry fee (deposit) of R 10 000 per team is payable before the
closing date (30 November 2022).
Entries of schools that haven’t paid their deposits by the closing date will be
cancelled.
Deposits are payable as follows:
Events scheduled for February/ March/ April 2022 - not later than 30 November 2022.
N10 (Club challenge) and N11(Netball indaba) will be handled differently. Closing date on respective letters that will follow.
All outstanding fees must be paid not later than 30 days prior to the commencement date of the specific event. Entry fees/ Deposit to be deducted from final payment.
CLOSING DATE
As soon as maximum teams have entered, but not later than the dates mentioned above.
MEALS
All meals will be served in the Tennis Clubhouse – except for one dinner when participants will have the opportunity to have dinner as a team, at their own cost. For weekend courses it will be on the Saturday evening, for midweek courses it will be the night before departure. Participants provide their own coffee, tea, etc. for use in the units.
