Thank you for your interest in working with Cal Youth Camps this summer season.  Cal Youth Programs (CYP) is a specialized unit of the Department of Recreational Sports at the University of California, Berkeley.  Cal Youth Programs focuses on youth experiences and programming on the UC Berkeley campus, and at other Recreational Sports facilities in Berkeley, California. Cal Youth Camps is comprised of a vast array of experiential summer camps ranging from sports centric camps, and outdoor adventure camps, to immersive summer learning experiences such as Blue Camp, Explorer Camp, Cal Adventures, Gymnastics, Martial Arts Camp, and Skate Camps.

Every year, the Recreational Sports Department hires a large cohort of the very best professionals to work in our camps. If you have a passion for youth development, love to teach, enjoy the outdoors, and have a burning desire to make a difference in your community, Cal Youth Camps is a great place to gain valuable work experience, learn new skills as a professional, and be a part of a fun, exciting, and dynamic team. We promise that the work is hard, but it is also fun, and absolutely rewarding.
