Children entering 1st-6th grade enjoy a week of music-related activities centered around "All Things Strings!" as we explore music genres that use stringed instruments (bluegrass, Classical, jazz, mariachi, pop, rock, sacred, etc.) and a variety of string instruments (violin, viola, cello, bass, harp, guitar, dulcimer, lute, sitar, zither, ukulele, banjo, koto, and more!). Camp will include instrument
demonstrations, crafts, snacks, songs, and STEAM activities (ex.: sound wave & frequency activities, yo-yos, kites, marionettes, pulleys, bowhair art) that relate in some way to STRINGS. Camp concludes with a
brief program at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, June 14, 2024 with the children performing songs learned during the week. $90 per camper ($80 before May 15th!). Scholarships
are available upon request. Reduced tuition and free childcare are available
