Learning Center Student Tutor Employment Application
The ELAC Learning Center is seeking studen tutors

All tutors start at Level I, which is paid at $14.49/hr.  Advancement to Level II ($14.71/hr) is dependent on evaluation of your tutoring skills AND completion of Level II training.  We are only accepting Level I Tutors who are full-time LACCD students.

Please note that your application does not guarantee an interview. If you are contacted for an interview, that interview does not guarantee employment.

Please bring your unofficial transcripts and resume to the Learning Center (E3-280) before the application deadline of July 31st.  
Minimum Qualifications
Earn an "A" or "B" in the course you would like to tutor (e.g. French 1 or Psychology 66) and have at least a 2.5GPA.

Enroll in and maintain full-time status (12-units). You will be asked to show verification of enrollment as a full-time student, and there are periodic, random enrollment checks throughout the semester.

Make yourself available for four mandatory trainings that take place on Fridays from 1:00pm - 3:30pm. Contact the Learning Center for specific dates.
