Join the PTA Board (Be a part of the McGowen PTA Board as a Co-Chair or Board member for 2023-2024)

Art Reflections Program (assist PTA in promoting the Reflections Program and collecting artwork)

Book fair (set up/take down, assist students, cash register)

Copy Room / Laminating (weekly opportunities to help teachers/staff/the PTA by making copies/laminating)

Field Day (assist coach Relle with grade level end of year activities and game stations)

Gift Wrapping (assist teachers during the holiday season by wrapping their gifts)

Library Volunteer (weekly opportunities to help with re-shelving books and student check out)

Lunch Room (daily opportunities to help teachers with lunch duties)

Room Parent (assists teachers as needed and executes 3 classroom parties per year.)

Staff Appreciation (help the PTA with providing and distributing lunches, decorations, treats or gifts)

Variety Show (volunteers may help with set up, escort students, decorate)

Watch D.O.G.S. (Dad volunteers will help in their child's classroom on a designated Friday each month.)

Mav Fan Jam (volunteers can sign up to assist the staff in setting up chairs, check-ins and escorting the guests to the gym. Volunteers working will be able to reserve two seats each. Must arrive at 7:30.)

Booster Fun Run (check off students' completed laps. Track school accomplishments, decorate hallways)

Trunk or Treat (set up, decorate, manage event traffic, check in participants)

Multicultural Night (set up and decorate the gym, crowd flow management, participant check in)

Dessert Den (volunteers will work a 30 minute shift to help distribute desserts for Mav team.)

School Dance (refreshments, decorating, set up, promotion)

Spring Carnival (monitor the event stations, promotion, decorations, clean up)

Book Fair (Volunteers will work with the Librarians to put on two Book Fairs during the school year. Volunteers will set up and break down the book fair and/or work shifts to run the cash register.)

Help from home (create sign-ups, contact businesses, small projects/assembly)

Sponsorships (please contact us if you or someone you know owns a business interested in sponsoring one of our PTA events)
