IBOC NYC: Career Development Program
Please respond to the questions below, as thoughtfully as possible. Your answers will help us find the best place for you in the IBOC ecosystem. IBOC's mission is to support the creation and development of a new operatic repertoire that combines ideas from both Brazilian and international artists while providing an educational structure for new talent to emerge. To be an IBOC Artist is a highly competitive career path. IBOC exists to serve the community of creatives, fostering international and cross-cultural collaboration, expanding the boundaries of genres and performance spaces. IBOC may provide mentoring, and a production environment for artists to take ownership of their careers while collaborating with other creators in the sustainable development of a strong performance market. In the 3-year residency career track, IBOC may act as Agent, Artists-Coop, Fiscal Sponsor, and Direct Employer through the IBOC Performance Fund.  Artists are expected to demonstrate dedication and commitment, to perform consistently at a high level, to be able to produce small events and video content, and to dedicate time to the improvement of the community, sharing resources and supporting other creators.
