Book Sales

Occur 3 times per year: Spring, Fall, & Winter. The spring and fall sales are 1 weekend in April and September, Friday-Sunday; the winter sale is 1 Saturday only in early December. We are currently not accepting volunteers to staff the sale, but we have the following needs:

I would like to join the Book Sale planning committee.

The planning committee deals with logistics, continuous improvement, volunteer coordination, set-up, and clean-up. Meets once or twice in advance of each sale; most advance tasks can be done on your own time.

I would like to help sort book donations (regularly throughout the year).

Daytime hours ideal, required initially for training; must be able to lift heavy boxes.

Bake Sales

Occur on Saturdays during the spring and fall book sales only. We are currently not accepting additional volunteers to staff the bake sales, but we always need bakers.

I would like to donate baked goods.

A call for bakers and instructions will be emailed in advance of each sale.

Organizational Needs

Admin & event help other than book sales. Frequency varies.

I would like to assist with social media or marketing (flyers, posters, Facebook, etc.)
