This webinar will help you begin to create a strategy to promote your work after its publication. It will give you some ideas of how to promote your work through twitter, blogs and podcasts as well as ways to build networks online so that your work will reach policy and decision makers. It will also give you the knowledge you need to then track that attention in tools like the Altmetric Explorer.

Learning outcomes:
(1) Have a broader understanding of promoting your publications and what you need - from an ORCID to a DOI, to be to do so effectively.
(2) Learn how to track the online attention of your work within the Altmetric Explorer.
(3) Gain an understanding of which journal may be the most suitable for your work, by looking at the online reach they have.
