Academy of Visual & Performing Arts (AVPA) Application Form

We are glad you are interested in applying to the Academy of Visual & Performing Arts! You can choose the Visual Arts, the Performing Arts, or the Mixed Arts strand. See the AVPA website for information on classes and curriculum requirements for each year for your chosen strand. 

You must attend the initial information meeting on December 6th at 8:30am in the Chorus Room.

  • Curricular Requirements: Students are required to complete one arts credit in the freshman year, two arts credits in the sophomore year, and a minimum of two arts credits junior & senior years. Additional credits are encouraged.
  • Extracurricular Requirements: Academy students are required to be involved in two extracurricular arts related organizations per academic calendar year.

The application deadline is February 14th.  By submitting this application, you are agreeing to the Clarence High School Academy for the Visual & Performing Arts participation and fulfillment of the graduation requirements for AVPA distinction.
