Award Description

Purpose: To recognize an outstanding Medical Laboratory Scientist and Medical Laboratory Technician (MLS/MLT) student, who, has demonstrated educational excellence and dedication to the laboratory profession.

To be eligible for this award the candidate must:
1. Be current student in a program at an accredited institution.
2. Must be in good standing with the accredited institution and program.

Judging will be based on:
1. Activities in their program and school.
2. Activities in ASCLS.
3. Activities in other professional organizations.
4. Academic excellence.
5. Recommendation essay
