This interest form is intended for scaling projects and research projects with a high potential for scaling or policy influence that face a significant external time constraint, such as a time-limited and/or unanticipated policy or implementation window. These grants are intended only for projects that need to receive funding before the end of the process for the current or upcoming RFP round. Please note that projects that are not under a significant external time constraint will not be considered for off-cycle funding and will instead be asked to apply to our regular RFP. K-CAI will accept off-cycle proposals for 1) proposal development grants up to $10,000, 2) pilots and RCTs for up to $75,000-$400,000, and 3) scaling awards for up to $400,000.

K-CAI accepts off-cycle applications on a rolling basis, while funding decisions will be shared once per quarter. Interested applicants must first submit this interest form explaining their time constraints to K-CAI. If K-CAI determines that your project qualifies for off-cycle support, you will be invited to submit a full proposal for consideration.
