Staff Training and Promoting Understanding of Cultural Differences
The purpose of this professional learning is to create an inclusive environment that supports all students’ academic achievement and social-emotional well-being
The school's staff professional learning includes regular, on-going awareness training for all certificated and classified staff members.  
Each individual staff member develops a personal cultural competency goal(s), and they articulate this need as a professional goal through an action plan.  These plans could be grade level or department specific.  
Each staff member works toward their personal professional competency goal(s) aligned with their action plan.
Documentation demonstrates the action plan has been implemented and embedded in educational and professional practices.
