Sheffield Food Festival 2024 Trader Application Form
Event Dates: Saturday 25th - Monday 27th May 2024
Trading Hours: Saturday & Sunday 10:00 - 19:00, Monday 10:00 - 18:00.  
Expected Capacity: 40-50K over the weekend 
Venue: Peace Gardens, Sheffield City Centre, Sheffield S1 2HH 
Application Deadline: 12pm Monday 11th December 2023 

Sheffield Food Festival returns to celebrate the Steel City’s finest food, drinks and music in the Heart of the City. The festival has been running for over 10 years and remains one of Sheffield's largest FREE events for the entire family. This year our aim is to put the city at the fore-front of the festival, with a community-led entertainment programme including family activities and new, emerging artists.

Trader Categories:
  1. Street Food & Small Bar - street food or alcohol for consumption onsite. 
  2. Coffee, Soft Drinks or Dessert - for consumption onsite. 
  3. Artisan Traders - packaged food/drink items for off sale only, non-food products, face painters/beauty. 
Pitch prices start from the following for a 3mx3m pitch:
  1. Street Food & Small Bar - £600+VAT
  2. Coffee, Soft Drinks or Dessert - £500+VAT 
  3. Artisan Traders - £400+VAT
If you require a bigger pitch, prices are:
  • 4.5mx3m - additional 15% of pitch fee
  • 4.5mx4.5m - additional 25% of pitch fee
  • 6mx6m - additional 50% of pitch fee
If you require a different pitch size, please complete the 'other' section in the pitch size question and we will email you to confirm the price. Minimum pitch size is 3mx3m.
 
Please note: you are not permitted to serve alcohol without direct permission from the festival organisers. 
If you wish to apply with more than one unit/stall, please complete separate application forms for each unit. 

Payment
If confirmed, a 50% deposit of your full payment (pitch fee + power) will be due no later than Wednesday 31st January 2024. The balance will be due no later than Monday 1st April 2024.

Power
It is preferable that you use the onsite official event power suppliers as opposed to bringing your own generator for H&S reasons. Power is available as a paid for supply by the event to traders, prices are as follows:
  • 1 x 16amp - £55+VAT a day
  • 2 x 16amp - £80+VAT day
  • 1 x 32amp - £80+VAT a day
  • 2 x 32amp - £100+VAT a day
Menu & H&S Paperwork
Please email us your menu (can be an example menu for now) and H&S paperwork on completion of this form. There is a checklist of all paperwork required later in the H&S section of this form. 

Your application may not be considered unless we receive all paperwork with your submission. If you are missing any documents or they are out of date, please email us what you have with this application and send the rest no later than Friday 29th March 2024

Timeline
  • Application close on Monday 11th December 2023 12pm 
  • The festival team will confirm if your stall has been accepted by Friday 15th December 2023
  • 50% deposit due by Wednesday 31st January 2024
  • 50% balance due by Monday 1st April 2024
  • All H&S paperwork must be submitted by Friday 29th March 2024 (although most of the paperwork will need to be submitted with your application by 11th Dec 2023).
Sheffield’s Clean Air Zone is now live. This is a class C chargeable zone for the most polluting heavy goods vehicles (HGVs), light goods vehicles (LGVs), vans, buses, coaches and taxis that drive within the inner ring road and city centre. Visit the website to see if you could be charged to bring your vehicle to the festival.
