MARVL Intermediate Spring 2022  Registration Tuesday Evening - "B" Level
You are registering for MARVL's Tuesday Intermediate "B" (GEVA B Level) league.

With the Covid-19 uncertainty, schedule and format are tentative and subject to change. We will do our best to convey any changes via our website and by email.

This is a competitive league and we are looking for players that have some experience playing in a team environment such as on a high school or club team - players who know the rules & fundamental skills of volleyball. Our goal is to keep the level of play competitive yet fun and as equal as possible between the teams. This league is not for someone who is simply looking to play "picnic" or recreational volleyball.

If you are looking for a higher level of play, please see our Thursday League - which is intended for very experienced players - BB and above.

Your personal information (i.e. email/address/phone) will NOT be shared outside of the league. Your personal information is used only for managing the league. We do post standings and rosters to our website and Facebook group. You should receive a confirmation by email after completing registration. If you do not receive the confirmation by email then likely you did not enter a correct email address or the response went to your junk mail folder (please look). If you cannot find the confirmation, please contact the volunteers (matawanaberdeenvolleyball@gmail.com) and re-register. NOTE: a properly and completely filled out registration is necessary to participate in our events. PLEASE Do Not fill out a registration for anyone else.

By registering, you agree to abide by the league's code of conduct and policies.
If selected to a team, you will be responsible for the season dues (typically $65).

ALL NEW PLAYERS MUST attend the tryouts.
Veteran Players should also attend tryouts. We do not grandfather players.

It's not easy to form teams and balance them but, we try. Your responses from the next two questions will help us form competitive teams with capable players at each position. The positions (i.e. setter, middle, outside, etc) you pick in the questions that follow may not be your favorite but the intent is to make the strongest teams possible.  So, with that in mind please answer the following two questions.
What is your preferred playing position? *
What is your best or 2nd position in which you can effectively contribute to your team? *
Which playing strategies do you know how to execute (Choose All that Apply)? *
Required
Would you like to help as a captain or co-captain (if needed)? *
A captain is someone who assumes a leadership position in the league hierarchy. You are a voice of reason. You assume a responsibility to help coordinate the members of your roster to play collectively and together as a team and to help resolve (with other volunteers if necessary), any issue that may arise within the team. If you want to hear more about captains responsibilities, email the club to discuss. Don't volunteer to be a captain if you can't help be that responsible voice of reason.
What is your T-shirt Size? *
