University of Pikeville Kentucky College of Optometry 2022 Residents' Day Continuing Education

The Kentucky College of Optometry will offer four hours of continuing education in Room 206 of the Optometry Building at 810 Hambley Blvd in Pikeville, KY. The CE will begin at 8:00 AM on June 24, 2022. The 4 hours of COPE-accredited CE will include 1 hour of ETP/TPA and 3 hours of TPA. Breakfast and lunch will be provided.

The presenters will be the 2022-2023 KYCO Residents: Dr. Maida Ahmad, Dr. Ambrosia Makini, and Dr. Mohammed Naja. The schedule is:

7:30 AM-8:00 AM: Registration and Breakfast
8:00 AM-9:00 AM: An Overview of Laser Peripheral Iridotomy as a Preventative First-Line Treatment- Mohammed Naja, O.D.
9:00 AM-10:00 AM The Evaluation and Management of Infectious Corneal Ulcers- Maida Ahmad, O.D
10:00 AM-12:00 PM: Interesting Cases: A Review of Glaucoma Types- Ambrosia Makini, O.D.
12:00 PM-1:00 PM: Lunch
