Tremé is America’s oldest neighborhood of free people of color, and home to New Orleans most recognizable cultural legacies: creole architecture, brass bands, second line parades, Mardi Gras Indians, Voodoo, Congo Square & the origins of Jazz.The New Orleans African American Museum is located just 3 blocks from the French Quarter, on the site of the city’s first brickyard. Join us for a tour of the museums exhibitions and historic grounds.

1 Hour Tour/Field Trip (includes admission)
Learn more about the exhibitions, historic campus, and free people of color.
Louisiana Residents  $20
Non-Louisiana Residents $35
Children (under 18) and Students $10

Tremé Experience 
(includes lunch at Lil' Dizzy's Cafe)
Treme Experience offers a half day and full day tourist experience in the Treme neighborhood of New Orleans (historically called Bulbancha before colonization), the oldest neighborhood of free people of color in the United States.
Half Day: $125 per person
Full Day: $250 per person *Currently Unavailable*
