I hereby acknowledge and agree that I am an independent contractor and that I am neither requesting nor will I receive any compensation from the Village or from Barrington’s White House for my participation in any of the Paint the Town Barrington! events and I hereby accept the sole responsibility for any loss of, damage to, or theft of my painting(s), or of any other  personal  property, loss, or personal injury resulting from or  in  any  way associated with my  participation in any of the Paint the Town Barrington! events. I further agree to and do hereby waive, hold harmless, indemnify, and release the Village of Barrington and its elected and appointed officials, officers, employees, volunteers, and other agents regarding any claim, loss, suit, cause of action, liability or expense(s) arising out of my Plein Air painting activities and/or any other participation by me in the Paint the Town Barrington! activities and/or the exhibition of my painting(s) within the Village and/or at the Barrington White House on or about October 1 - 9, 2021. I also hereby agree that the Village and any event sponsors shall have the right to photograph and/or make other images of my works resulting from or related to my participation in the Paint the Town Barrington! events and activities for the purpose of and as part of the promotion of and/or marketing for future events of the Village and/or of the sponsor(s) of the Paint the Town Barrington! events and activities, and I hereby assign said rights to the Village and said sponsor(s) for such promotional and/or marketing purposes.  I hereby acknowledge that I have read and understand the foregoing Agreement, Waiver, and Indemnification.
