Invitation to partner as LSSSDC-PCI Skill Centre under PMKVY 4.0 Fresh Skilling Special Project

Life Sciences Sector Skill Development Council (LSSSDC) under the mandate from Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) and in partnership with Pharmacy Council of India is planning to take up a Skill Development Project for Pharmacy Final Students (B. Pharm/ M. Pharma) for two futuristic Programs

1. Associate- Regulatory Affairs and Intellectual Property (IVD and Medical Devices): Regulated Business Operations : Total Duration 660 Hours (22 Academic Credits)

2. Bioinformatics Associate/Analyst : Total Duration 840 Hours (28 Academic Credits)

If the Project is approved, the Batch needs to start before 12th March 2024.

Modus Operandi:

1. Funded by PMKVY 4.0 in 3 Tranche

a. Associate- Regulatory Affairs and Intellectual Property (IVD and Medical Devices): Regulated Business Operations : Total INR 10000/- per Certified Student

b. Bioinformatics Associate/Analyst : Total INR 14000/- per Certified Student

2. Curriculum, session plan, Course Content for Students is available

3. Training:

3.a) Biometric attendance mandatory. 70% compulsory

3.b) The entire training life cycle from enrollment to certification and tracking will be done through Skill India Portal Digitally.

3.c) Trainer – should be a certified Trainer. Train the Trainer will be provided by LSSSDC @10,000 subsidized @ INR 5000 per trainer

4. Assessment:

Post Training, final examination will be conducted by LSSSDC on the last day of Training or within 3 days from the last day of Training

5. Placement: 70% compulsory. LSSSDC shall be able to support in connecting with employers with 2 Interview opportunities. and LSSSDC shall be able to provide 2 interview opportunities for Trained and Certified Students.

6. Funding Schedule

Fund shall be disbursed soon after LSSSDC receives the fund from NSDC/MSDE in the following manner.

Tranche 1: 30% of Training Cost. On commencement of Training. Attendance proof of 1 week to be submitted

Tranche 2: 30% of the Training Cost. On completion of 50% attendance

Tranche 3: 40% of the Training Cost. On Placement and 3 months of track record

Note: Affiliation Fee of LSSSDC shall be INR 25000/- per annum. 1st year affiliation fee and applicable Train the Trainer fee shall be retained by LSSSDC from the 1st Tranche release amount.

In case of failure of the students/ placement failure/ tracking failure, MSDE shall be deducting the training fee disbursed in previous tranche from last tranche. In the same manner, LSSSDC shall be processing the funds for partner institution.
