The Way I Write project aims to invite faculty members and writers in the community to talk about their own writing practices, motivations, insights, and struggles. In doing so, panelists demystify the writing demands and offer a multiplicity of motivations, practices, and wisdom. Students are encouraged to attend the event, interact with the panelists, and gain valuable knowledge and connections. 

The event is scheduled on Thursday, May 25th, from 12:00-1:30 in the Wyckoff Reading Room, where you will have the opportunity to meet our panelists and discover their responses to various questions, such as:

• What motivates your writing?
• What does a supportive writing environment look like for you?
• What is a valuable lesson you’ve learned about writing?
• What are some of the challenges you face? And what gets you through it?
