2023 MIT Path of Professorship Application
The Path of Professorship Workshop prepares MIT graduate students and post-doctoral researchers to enter careers in academia. This event is open to women and nonbinary individuals who personally identify with the unique experiences of women-identifying people as an underrepresented gender group. The workshop's aim is to provide information about academic scientific careers and the application process. 

The workshop is designed for students and post-docs in STEM fields, although non-STEM participants may be accepted on a case-by-case basis.

Due to the popularity and limited size of this workshop, we are asking that you apply to participate. Participants will be selected on the basis of predetermined priorities (e.g. time until job search, reasons for wanting to participate) and are expected to attend the entirety of the event.

The workshop will be held in-person. All sessions on Saturday, November 18th and Sunday, November 19th will be held in-person at the MIT Media Lab.

The application is NOW DUE October 18th, 2023 (extended from October 13th, 2023). 

Participants will be notified of acceptance by email. We will maintain a waiting list, so PLEASE HOLD THIS TIME IN YOUR SCHEDULE.

The Path of Professorship workshop will be held Saturday, November 18th 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, and Sunday, November 19th, 9:00 am to 3:30 pm.
