Lifeguard Training Recertification: Fee: $125 for residents; $150 for non-residents

This course is for people currently certified in lifeguard training that need to be recertified. This course is renewable every two years. A current lifeguard training certification card must be shown to take this course. This course is a review course of material, skills, with a culmination test at the end. Attendance for all nights is mandatory.

Lifeguard Training Recertification opt out Course: Fee: $100 for residents; $150 for non-residents

This course is for people currently certified in lifeguard training that need to be recertified and have recertified before. This course is renewable every two years. A current lifeguard training certification card must be shown to take this course. Participants that choose to opt out will need to review Lifeguarding and CPR material prior to the course. Day of the course participants will test their swim, rescue, and CPR. After individual passes their skills they will be required to take the recertification exam. Participants will have to pass all three parts to receive their recertification. This course is Pass or Fail. Any individual who needs a refresher, or can not demonstrate proficiency should take the four night recertification course.

Recertification Opt Out Course

I acknowledge that by selecting this course I will review the Lifeguarding and CPR material prior to attending. This course is not a review course, but an opt out course for lifeguards who have recertified multiple times. The purpose of this course is for lifeguards to display their swim and rescue skills, CPR and AED, and to pass the recertification exam. To obtain your recertification all three categories need to be passed with an 80% or better. This course is non-refundable.
