The Pleasanton Virtual Academy is a blended, virtual/independent study school. Daily in-person attendance is not required but daily engagement, weekly synchronous zooms (Grades 4-12) and daily synchronous zoom attendance (Grades K-3) is required. Students will receive ample support from their credentialed PUSD teachers, however, due to the flexible nature of the school, it is imperative that students are able to study independently (and/or be provided with support and structure from an adult in the home).
It's important to understand that students MUST demonstrate the ability to study independently and not all applications to PVA can be approved.
