The Engineering Students Scholarship program has been initiated by COLT Technology as part of their corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative, in collaboration with PURE India Trust (an NGO). This scholarship is aimed at providing financial assistance to underprivileged meritorious engineering students from any Engineering College in India. Eligible students are encouraged to apply for this scholarship, and the following guidelines outline the criteria for selection:
Eligibility Criteria:
- Students from economically disadvantaged families with a maximum family income of Rs. 2,00,000/- per year are eligible.
- Preference will be given to students with disabilities for the scholarship.
- Students who are children of single mothers, widows, martyrs, differently-abled parents, etc., will be given priority.
- Engineering students studying from the 1st to the 5th year of their course are eligible to apply.
- Final selection will be based on document verification, family background assessment, and a personal interview conducted by the NGO and COLT team.
Important Points:
- The final scholarship amount will be determined by the management and may be provided in two installments based on the student's performance report submission.
- Students are encouraged to improve their business skills by volunteering at PURE India Trust or any other NGO for a total of 30 days in a year. Volunteering activities can be carried out either online or in person.
- Students must submit their performance report every quarter.
- Selected students will be required to submit relevant documents as part of the screening process.
- All scholarship applications must be submitted through the designated Google page.
- The deadline for submitting the application is 30th Sept '23.
