Submit your poster abstract for the Clarity in Research medal at the third annual national conference A Collaborative Approach to Arthritis and Rheumatic Disease Research, 17 November 2021, on the theme 'New Treatments for Rheumatic Disease'.  Abstract submission deadline is 15 October 2021.

Both the abstract and the poster should be aimed at a general, non-scientific audience.  Abstracts and posters should be entirely in plain English. Plain English is a style of presenting information that helps an audience understand it the first time they read or see it. Plain English gives the audience information in language they can understand and helps them to make informed choices.

Accepted posters will be presented to and judged by a panel of patient reviewers at the conference. Posters will be judged on how understandable the research is, how accessibly it is presented, the use of plain English and the tailoring of key messages to the target audience.

Accepted abstracts will be published online in News Rheum, the patient/researcher co-produced research newsletter.
