About Art on the Ave

As a 501c3 nonprofit organization, Art on the Ave works to promote the education of the arts and revitalize SE Rochester. Annually in May, Art on the Ave hosts a festival showcasing local artisans and art-based organizations, food, musicians, and fine arts performers.

Art on the Ave is committed to maintaining an environment without religious or political polarity. All are welcome at this event. Through our efforts, we seek to champion creativity as a vehicle for peace, humanism, and prosperity.

Commitment
A two-year commitment is required for board membership.

Attendance at planning meetings and participation in event-day activities is expected. Planning meetings are held monthly throughout the year and increase in the weeks leading up to the event. Participation in event-day activities involve approximately 8-10 hours of dedicated time.
