Free Senior Self-Defense Class

The Special Olympics of Kansas along with the Family YMCA in Pittsburg and UnitedHealthcare have teamed up to provide a special Self- Defense Class.

Join us for a free, interactive senior self-defense class by certified martial arts instructor, Cheston Doran.

A second-degree black belt and Taekwondo instructor from Springfield, Cheston will be at the Y demonstrating martial arts techniques adapted especially for senior self-defense.

This event is open to seniors, people of disability and the public regardless of YMCA membership, so don’t miss out on this opportunity to learn to protect yourself and improve your sense of security!
