General Symposium Invite: 2025 STEMtastic Adventures! Africa

Thank you for your interest in attending our Inaugural Regional Symposium — STEMtastic Adventures! Africa, taking place from Tuesday, July 22 to Friday, July 25, 2025.

In partnership with our co-hosts, CEMASTEA and AUDA-NEPAD, the mEducation Alliance (mEA) is excited to welcome enthusiastic attendees who are passionate about advancing STEM learning opportunities across Africa.

Similar to mEA's global Symposia in 2024 and 2023, this event will bring together policymakers, practitioners, funders, researchers, and other stakeholders to explore ways to enhance STEM education for pre-primary, primary, and secondary learners, particularly in lower-resource contexts and both formal and informal settings.

The call for presentation proposals is still open! If you would like to be a presenter, please fill out the presentation proposal form instead of this general invite form. If you’ve already applied or have been invited as a presenter, there’s no need to complete this form.

Invite-Only Participation

This invite-only Symposium will host a limited number of participants (approximately 300 attendees). To express your interest in attending, please complete the form below with the requested background information. Invitations for general registrants will be sent on a rolling basis.

Registration Fees

Registration is free for all African nationals residing on the continent and working for African organizations based in Africa.

To help cover essential event costs and ensure a high-quality experience for all attendees, international and non-African participants are required to pay a registration fee of $600 USD per person, with a limited number of discounted tickets available at $300 USD, subject to review.
