Vermont has a once in a lifetime opportunity to transform and shape the future of our state. Thanks to federal stimulus funds, a surge in state revenues, and more potential federal funds on the way, the Vermont Legislature is positioned to make historic investments in Vermont's pandemic recovery, address critical infrastructure needs, support Vermonters' health and well-being, and strengthen Vermont's communities, businesses, environment, and climate.

Speaker of the House Jill Krowinski and Senate President Pro Tem Becca Balint are committed to working with Vermonters to navigate this historic moment. This fall, we reached out to over 1000 Vermonters through regional Town Hall meetings, intentional small group conversations, and an online questionnaire through our "Investing in Vermont's Future: Community Conversations" process. We're using feedback from these conversations to inform our policy and budget work during the 2022 Legislative Session.
