1. CabFringe brings back
CabLive -
Cab Live is a return to the cabaret club nights of past. A free form event, where any brand new, emerging or established artists are welcome to turn up and sing, with accompaniment provided by the resident pianists and host, Leather Lungs. Singers may bring their own music or work with the resident host and pianists. Musicians may bring their own instruments, or arrange what we need to create something fringe and fun!
These spots are designed for both CabFringe acts who want some extra activation, stage time and opportunities to promote their shows, as well as others in the cabaret community keen to jump up, play with ideas and/or other performers. A special warm invitation to performers who were part of Cab Live back at La Boheme, the German Club and would like to reinvent iconic moments and play around with old and new pals. We're open to anything and everything cabaret that would suit the intimate lounge vibe and the small stage space.
Linger a little or for a longtime at CabLive where acts and audiences slip into something a little more cabaret. Audiences step into our artist bar style joint and enjoy the entertainment provided by cabaret performers. Drinks, desserts or a date night treat, this is the joint where acts and audience meet. No set times, no scripted show or fixed line-ups.
Mon - Thurs from 6:30pm - late
Fri - Sat from 9:00pm - late
Sun from 8:00pm - late
Arthur Art Bar, Currie St. Adelaide
EXPRESS YOUR INTEREST IN PARTICIPATING
There are limited spots available on the Monday to Thursday* CabLive shows (weekend nights curated by CabFringe). Tell us about you, your act, how long you can perform for (min and max), how we get in contact, date preferences and share any videos or pics you might have (so we can promote it).
*These spots are currently unpaid. If we secure further sponsorship or sell out the week night shows then we will of course share the love with the acts on that night.
EXPRESS YOUR INTEREST IN SPOTS AND ACTIVATIONS, PR and MARKETING
There are activation spots available leading up to and during the festival. Some in venues, some in pop up locations - including store windows, street stages, bars and restaurants - some paid, some unpaid, some others suitable for flyering and promoting your shows guerilla style off line outside of socials. Tell us about you, your act, how long you can perform for (min and max), how we get in contact, date preferences and share any videos or pics you might have (so we can promote it). AND what kind of space and tech you need to pop up in a minimalist/not a show and stage setting.
