2023/2024 Trustee Application
Trustees will be voted in by the Screaming Eagles board after rosters are released for the 2023 season.  The term for a trustee is two years, but the trustee can resign at any time.  The Screaming Eagles board also reserves the right to remove a trustee if the trustee is not able to complete their duties.  Duties are listed below.  Please select which trustee position you are interested in.  We will have at minimum of two open trustee positions.  Trustees will be announced November 1st.

Volunteer Trustee:

Make sure each team has designated manager
• Meet with all managers at the start of season to review manager duties (collect fundraising, communicate to families via snap, report policy infractions, answer parent questions), expectations and Eagles policies and codes of conduct
• Be point of contact for team managers
• Gather any reports of code of conduct violations and report to board
• Create and fill volunteer positions for tournament and other events (fundraiser, uniforms distribution, photo day, scrimmages, tryout clinic)
• Work with treasurer to gain cash for paying volunteers at tournament and other events
• Attend monthly board meetings
• Work with board on any additional needs

Tournament Trustee:

Work closely with President, VP, and Secretary to ensure proper execution of tournament team registrations, payments, rosters
• Make contacts and reservations as needed for deks
• Work to complete tournament schedule in conjunction with board and referee agent
• Work closely with Volunteer coordinator to lock down trained scorekeepers for all games
• Make score sheets for all games
• Make rules sheets for all deks and communicate such to all participating teams
• Make sure all deks have proper equipment and in working order
• Complete as needed Google docs with game updates
• Work with Social Director on prizes (ordering, gathering, and distributing to winners)
• Work with Volunteer Coordinator for volunteers on concessions, scorekeeping, and clean up
• Work with board for any additional needs through the season
• Attend monthly board meetings

Scheduling Trustee:

Secure practice nights and weekend slots for all teams
• Create a monthly rotating schedule for practice times
• Communicate to coaches practice vacancies
• Work with board for any additional needs through the season
• Attend monthly board meetings
