Byam Parent Volunteer-One-Day Program

Many individuals in our community are understandabley not able to commit to a consistent substitute schedule, but would like to help support Byam in some way. This program provides a way for parents/guardians or grandparents to provide "one day and done" volunteer tutoring support in a Byam classroom between the hours of 8:45-3:15. Participants will be assigned to a K-4 classroom other than their own child(ren)''s classroom. Communication of a requested day in many cases will be inquired by the Byam office within 1-2 days prior to volunteer day. All volunteers must be CORI'd. If more than one member of a child's family is interested, please submit a form for each individual separately.
