ADULT AND CHILDREN WORKSHOP

Come with your child / parent or with your friend or husband / wife.

In a non-school and creative setting, you will discover architecture and heritage conservation in a playful way. The aim of this workshop is to introduce you to architecture and to raise awareness about heritage in Paris.
The main activity will be the construction of a model of a Haussmann building and your own architecture project. Many other complementary activities will be offered to enrich this initiation.
Along with the construction of the model, we will explore several other aspects related to architecture.
Namely, the explanation of the profession of architect, its role and its missions, the presentation of certain major projects in the world, the discovery of references combining ancient and contemporary as well as other complementary activities. We will do manual work but will also tackle the theory.We will also draw because drawing is one of the architect’s communication mediums. We will make sketches, plans and drawings of facades.
