A number of Marcy-Holmes residents, property owners and business owners attended a Safety Meeting organized by the Marcy-Holmes Neighborhood Association on Monday, September 16, at First Congregational Church.

Over the course of that meeting a number of individuals expressed interest in forming a Safety Committee that could be organizationally supported by MHNA. The purpose of this interest form is to gather names from the community who would be interested in serving on this Committee or participating in any of its activities.

You do not need to be on the MHNA board of directors to serve on this, or any committee. All members of the community are invited and encouraged to participate in the neighborhood association. You also don't need to use this form just to subscribe to crime or safety notices -- everyone who already receives our emails will always receive those notices

Please only fill out this form if you are interested in collaborating with your neighbors and other members of the community to come up with ideas and potential projects that can improve the safety of the Marcy-Holmes neighborhood.

In the coming weeks our staff and board will attempt to come up with a plan to help organize those who respond to this form. We have a number of major events in the next few weeks, so we will likely be better to think through some of this new, potential project after our Election/Membership meeting on Tuesday, October 15th. Please consider attending this event, it will take place at The Machine Shop, 300 2nd Street SE. Socializing begins at 6pm, the meeting will begin promptly at 6:30 pm.
