Thank you for your interest in the Village of Bolingbrook Arts Council commission! We are looking for community members that enjoy being creative, are passionate about being involved in their community, and see the value in highlighting the arts in Bolingbrook.

I would like to take this moment first to introduce what the Arts Council is and what we do within the village.

The Bolingbrook Arts Council is one of six commissions of the Village of Bolingbrook. These commissions, composed of members appointed by the Mayor, are bodies that are established to carry out certain functions within the village. The Arts Council Commission’s primary function is to assist the Mayor and Board of Trustees in developing and implementing projects that will enhance the artistic and cultural aesthetics of the Village. The Commission shall develop and recommend to the Mayor and Board of Trustees projects and programs which will have as their purpose the cultural enhancement of the Village with respect to fine and performing arts.
