Knowledge for Change
The Loyola History Graduate Student Association (HGSA) is launching "Knowledge for Change," an ongoing project to collect resources that challenge the conventional understanding of American history. We want to help Loyola students confront racism and discrimination on campus and beyond. Please submit your recommendations here.

You can recommend many different kinds of resources: non-fiction books, historical fiction books, podcasts, scholarly articles, documentaries, exhibits, and more.

· All submissions should focus on American history.
· We encourage resources that explore how race intersects with gender, sexuality, ethnicity, class, and more.
· We are asking each person who submits a resource to provide a brief explanation of why they chose this resource. This explanation should be approximately 100-300 words long.
· If you would like to participate but you are unsure where to start, we recommend searching Loyola’s library catalog.
· Although this initiative is primarily intended to serve the Loyola community, we welcome submissions from anyone who is interested.
