Come support me on tour!!

I’m Maddie, I’m a queer folk musician from Leeds.

In February I’m planning a tour of the UK to promote a project, that hasn't been announced yet. As part of the project, I’m looking for support (or to support) from LGBTQIA-identifying folk musicians from across the UK, and generate some more gigs for us *all* and to try and use the really cool position I'm in, to get more queer folk heard. And by folk, I mean anything from clog dancing and 20-minute ballads, to Laura Marling style barefoot singer/songwriters. It’s all valid, and I’d love to hear it.

If you reckon this could be you, fill out this form and let me know more about you. Filling out this form doesn’t guarantee any work, but it means if I am going to your town/city I’ll have you on a spreadsheet of local queer-identifying folkies to contact.

If you have any questions, feel free to drop me an email at maddiemorrismusic@gmail.com. If for accessibility reasons, filling this form out will be a barrier to you, feel free to send me an MP3, or video that answers these questions.

Name of act *

Where are you based?

general region and local town/city would be great!

*

What are some venues that you love to play/would love to play?

these can be as local as you'd be willing to travel.

*
What are your artist's rates?

If you've not ever charged to play before, and you're not sure how much would be the right amount to charge I'm happy to work this out with you!
A link to where I can hear your music
live would be better but it's okay if that isn't possible!

As part of the marketing for this tour, I will be talking about how it is aiming to highlight the voices, narratives and experiences of LGBTQIA-identifying folk musicians. Because of this, I will be talking about how acts I am performing with are (or include members) who identify as LGBTQIA.
