Friends of Random Lake Kids parent-teacher organization would like to invite you to participate in our newest community event!   It's a Trunk or Treat to be held on Halloween night, Friday, October 30 from 6 pm to 7 pm at the Lakeview Park (beach) in Random Lake.

What is Trunk or Treat? Trunk or Treat is a fun, safe and convenient way for children and families to celebrate Halloween and trick or treat in one location. Vehicles are parked together with their trunks decorated in a family-friendly theme. Kids then walk from car to car to receive candy and/or other treats.

This is a fabulous opportunity to promote your business to local families. We would love to have your business set-up a decorated trunk to hand out candy and goodies! Along with treats for the children you can hand out flyers, coupons or trinkets to promote your business to the adults. We are promoting this event throughout the school district, the community, on Facebook, and the F.O.R Kids website. Any help you can offer in helping us promote the event will only help to ensure it’s success. We’ll be offering hot dogs, brats, chips, water, soda and hot chocolate during the event at family-friendly prices.

Time: 5:00 – 5:40 pm Trunk Set-up/Decoration
                        6:00 – 7:00 pm Trunk or Treating!
Where:         Lakeview Park (Random Lake Beach)
Cost: $25

This is a fundraising event for our Random Lake Parent Teacher Organization, F.O.R. Kids.  All proceeds will go back to support our Random Lake School!

The parking lot will be opened at 5 pm for volunteers to decorate their trunk.  All "trunks" must be parked in their assigned spot and decorations completed by no later than 5:40 pm.  For safety reasons, if your "trunk" arrives later than 5:40 pm we may not be able to let you participate -- and nobody wants that to happen, so please plan accordingly.  

Please wear a mask and gloves or deliver in a creative way!

You can decorate your trunk in the traditional Halloween theme (please keep in mind this event is geared toward elementary-age children so nothing too frightening).  BUT, if you want to mix it up a bit?  How about using a theme based on your business or one of these themes below?  Keep in mind it will be dark, so battery-powered lights or things that glow in the dark would be awesome!
