Remote Learning Survey_2021-2022 School Year
Families, please know that next year students will need to qualify for remote learning. Please ONLY FILL OUT THIS SURVEY IF YOU BELIEVE YOUR CHILD WILL QUALIFY FOR REMOTE LEARNING NEXT YEAR. You will need to complete a survey for each student in your family.
Next year for remote learning, consistent with the guidance from the CDC, IDPH and ISBE families of students WILL NEED TO SECURE a doctor’s note to participate in remote instruction and will have to go through a district approval process. Students who are at increased risk of severe illness, who have special health care needs, or who live with people at increased risk may be given the option of remote instruction with a doctor's note to accompany the request. In addition, if the Governor lifts the disaster declaration that is currently in place, remote learning would no longer be an option for our families.
The District will evaluate requests for remote instruction according to Section 504 evaluation procedures, state and federal law and ISBE rules.
Please understand that this will not qualify you for remote learning, we are simply gauging interest.
