During this corporate and M&A practice area workshop, Felicity Powell (Senior Solicitor) and Jonathan Hock (South African Qualified Lawyer) from the Macfarlanes corporate and M&A team will talk through the types of work that the team undertakes, the types of clients they work with and the specialisms within the team. The team will also discuss a case study and will be able to answer your questions about corporate and M&A at Macfarlanes.
Speakers:
Felicity Powell (Senior Solicitor) - Felicity advises on a broad range of domestic and cross-border matters, including private equity transactions, private M&A acquisitions and disposals and restructurings. She acts for a wide range of clients including management teams, private equity houses and large corporates. She has been with the firm since 2013.
Jonathan Hock (South African-qualified Lawyer) - Jonathan is an Associate in the firm's Corporate and M&A team who is currently in his fourth year of post-qualification experience. He previously worked in the Johannesburg office of a leading UK firm where he advised clients on a range of company law and transactional matters. Jonathan has advised clients from a range of industries including energy, telecommunications, commodities trading and publishing.
