WELCOME TO WYOMING'S FIRST CATTERY, Whiskers & Meows.
We are glad you have come to adopt a Kitty from our place.
Please keep in mind we are not a first come, first serve adoption service. We are a best fit adoption service.

The following information is requested so that your adoption counselor can assist you in the selection of a new pet. The animal’s welfare is our foremost consideration. The consultation process is designed to help us determine if the adoption is in the animal’s best interest, and to assist you in finding an animal most compatible with your lifestyle.

The animals available for adoption came here from a variety of sources. All animals are examined by a veterinary service upon entry and their health is routinely monitored.

*While we try to pre-screen medical and temperament issues before placing an animal for adoption, some behaviors or conditions can go undetected. We are happy to try and help should this happen, but cannot guarantee health or temperament. There is always a chance that an animal is incubating a disease or other health problem without showing any clinical signs. By adopting an animal you are accepting responsibility for their wellbeing and any needed care, veterinary or otherwise at the time of ownership transfer.

Our adoption fee includes: first series of vaccinations. All adoption fees and deposits are non-refundable

IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED AS AN ADOPTER TODAY, YOU MUST:
Have the knowledge and consent of your landlord
Be 18 years of age or older
Have a picture I.D. showing your present address
Be able and willing to spend the time and money necessary to provide training, medical treatment, and proper care for a pet.

***Whiskers & Meows reserves the right to refuse adoption to anyone. No animal will be adopted to prospective owners who mislead or fail to provide accurate information on the questionnaire. Whiskers & Meows is committed to equal treatment of all applicants without unlawful discrimination as to religion, race, national origin, sex, age, disability or handicap.

You will be required to pay the adoption fee which covers vetting such as spay/neuter, rabies and vaccinations.
